How I think about building software
I started as a WordPress developer in 2018 — not because WordPress was trendy, but because clients needed working products fast. That grounding taught me something most engineers skip: business outcomes matter more than elegant abstractions.
The evolution to full-stack and then AI wasn't a pivot. It was depth building on depth. Every layer — PHP to TypeScript, REST to GraphQL, static to AI-native — made me a sharper problem-solver. I now bring that full-stack lens to every AI engagement: understanding the business model first, then picking the right tools.
I'm based in the Philippines, fully remote, and have shipped production products for clients in the US, UK, Australia, and Southeast Asia. Async-first by default, with synchronous availability across timezones on request.
Three principles I never compromise

A working product in production beats a perfect product in planning. I move with urgency and refine in cycles. Velocity isn't recklessness — it's discipline applied correctly.
